Before You Apply to SEAI

Please read the application checklist below before opening the SEAI portal. Have your electricity bill and application details ready. To qualify for this grant the person applying must be the homeowner. SEAI approval is required before work starts.

Procedure for applying

1. Apply through SEAI

Sign in or Register to the SEAI portal at the below Link. You will receive an email to verify your email address. Log back in to the SEAI portal through the link provided in this email.

2. Have your details ready

Keep your electricity bill to hand for your MPRN, along with your property address, Eircode and email address.

2. Check your eligibility

The applicant must be the homeowner receiving a qualifying welfare payment. You will be asked to enter your PPSN and Date Of Birth to validate your details.

3. Confirm your installation details

Enter the system size ( numbers only )

Example : If you are getting 10 X 470 Watt panels installed , enter 4.7 as system size

Select Both Solar PV & Battery if you are getting a battery Installed.

Search & Select Kode Engineering & Contracting Services Ltd as your installation company.

Enter Kode Engineering & Contracting Services Ltd for account name

Select AIBKIE2D from the Bic Search box

Enter IBAN IE42AIBK93633266219092

5. Wait for your grant offer

If your application is successful you will receive an email from SEAI shortly after applying
